Sometimes, you may receive a PDF file and want to modify it, yet there may be a problem because the PDF modification applications usually need to be purchased. For minor changes you can convert the Portable Document File to a Microsoft® Word document and work with the data in the same way as you would if it were a Word document file.   1. Open your Internet browser and go to the Free PDF to Word Converter© download page.
  2. Enter your “Email Address” and “Name” into the white box and click on the “Download Now” button.
  3. Go to your mailbox and verify your email address. Click on the “MAIL CHIMP” button.
  4. Go to your mailbox and open the mail received from the “Free PDF Converter” site. Click on the “Yes, subscribe me to this list” button.
  5. You will be redirected to the “Subscription Confirmed” page. Click on the download link and save the file to your hard drive.
  6. Launch the downloaded file. On the welcome screen click on the “Next” button.
  7. Select the installation path and click on the “Next” button. In the start menu folder specification click on the “Next” button again.
  8. Set your preferences for the creation of the icon(s) and click on the “Next” button again.
  9. Finally, click on the “Install” button.
  10. After the process finishes, click on the “Finish” button.

Free PDF to Word Converter© converting instructions:

  1. Launch the application.
  2. Click on the “Add PDF document…” button.
  3. Select the PDF file you want to convert.
  4. In the left navigation pane, click on the “Start Convert…” button.
  5. When the process finishes, the file will open in the Microsoft® Word application as a RTF format.
