How Do I Export Bookmarks in Google Chrome™

Every good Internet browser enables users to export bookmarks into the HTML file and import them back if this issue ever arises. Google Chrome™ is no exception. Learn how to export your stored favorite websites by following the instructions below.

Exporting bookmarks in Google Chrome™:

  1. Launch your Google Chrome™ Internet browser.
  2. Click on the settings icon in the right-top corner of the browser and select “Bookmarks > Bookmark manager“.
  3. Click on the “Organize” dropdown and select “Export bookmarks to HTML file”.
  4. Specify the location and name of the file, then click on the “Save” button.
  5. Now, you can back up the file and when you install Google Chrome™ again, you can import them back. In the “Organize” dropdown menu, select “Import bookmarks from HTML file” and locate the exported file. Open it.
