How Do I Use One Password for Everything

May 15, 2014  |  Difficulty: Easy

master password for every login

Many online sites require a login or username and password to view its content. Security savvy users know using the same password for multiple sites is unsafe. Therefore, every website requires a unique login to remember. Of course, modern Internet browsers offer to remember this information for you and fill in the blanks when necessary. But this doesn’t always work, especially when there is more than one login for a specific service.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have one master password so all you have to remember is one password for everything and still remain safe? Fortunately, there are solutions that will do just that. Specialized software, called password managers, will keep all your passwords for you and use them automatically to log you into the various sites. All you have to do is create one password.

My Logon Manager is one that is quite easy to use. Just download and install this free software, create your account and it will guide you through the process of using one password for everything. Read the instructions below to learn how to set-up a master password step-by-step.
